The new Alloa station is located at the old Alloa Brewery site in the centre of Alloa.
A new roundabout and access road have been completed and will provide pedestrian and vehicular access to the station and car park once the station is open. Drop off facilities and parking spaces for 50 vehicles will be available.
The single platform at Alloa Station has been constructed and building work on the station, which will have waiting facilities for passengers, is now under way. The station will be equipped with CCTV and customer information systems.
The adjacent ASDA superstore opened for business earlier this year.
