How did you become involved in archaeology?
I did two weeks work experience with AOC when I was at school. My first dig was on Skye.
What aspect of the job do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy the challenge of understanding how things were constructed in the past.
What has been your most interesting find?
During an excavation of a church in the Highlands, the team excavated a Pictish Stone from the church crypt. It hadn’t been seen for a very long time.
What are your interests outside work?
I enjoy yoga, knitting and gardening.
