How did you become involved in archaeology?
I enjoyed visiting sites when I was younger on holidays, and I decided to do a degree in it.
What aspect of the job do you enjoy the most?
Getting to touch and see something that hasn’t been seen for hundreds of years. Also I enjoy the fact that the public get to participate in their local history on this project.
What has been your most interesting find?
A polished stone axe which was found in Birnie, near Inverness on a site run by the Museum of Scotland.
What are your interests outside work?
I enjoy illustrating finds and comics, drawing and painting. Also walking my dog and swimming.
