Renewal

My National Entitlement Card is about to expire, how do I renew it?

Printed on your National Entitlement Card is the concessionary travel expiry date. If you received your National Entitlement Card because you are over 60 years of age, you will automatically receive a new card a few weeks before your current card expires and there is no need for you to contact your local authority unless you have changed address.

If you received your card on grounds of disability you may be contacted by your Local Authority/SPT approximately 4-6 weeks prior to this expiry date giving details of how to renew your card. If not please contact them and they will advise you on the renewal process.

You should not complete a new form, although you will be asked to provide up to date documentary evidence to show that you continue to qualify. Your Local Authority or concessionary travel office will keep you right.
