1.3) Variations, Changes and Priced Options
3A Engine options –ScotRail are in discussions over engine maintenance work which may include acquiring the Stage 3A engines. AP - ScotRail
1.4) Committed Obligations Delivery
Queen Street – The travel centre upgrade work has begun. Temporary closure is taking place this weekend and ScotRail will look at information that is on display. Once this work is complete a revised delivery date may be possible. AP - ScotRail
1.5) Compliance
Discussion took place on updating the compliance information which is in the report. JM will review and refresh the current wording. AP – JM
Potential changes to the format of the meeting is to be looked at by HB and proposals shared with ScotRail. AP –Transport Scotland
2) COMMERCIAL AND PASSENGER ISSUES
2.1) Service Level Commitment Delivery
Airdrie to Bathgate 4tph (trains per hour) – NS confirmed ScotRail intend to deliver 4tph on Airdrie to Bathgate route from 23 May. Train Plan had been shared and Transport Scotland will respond on the detail. AP – Transport Scotland
Full cascade plans for c318/ c334 units have been affected by c380 availability. c320s are now cleared for Argyle line with only minor issues at Dalmarnock to be resolved to allow c318 to remain in Ayrshire until full c380 acceptance.

SLC progress with changes – The Argyle Line derogation has been closed off.
Further discussions are taking place to update the SLC. It was felt that it was worth waiting until work to reflect the start of 4tph on the Airdrie to Bathgate route was complete before formalising it. The amalgamation of various North Clyde routes is to be progressed with late June a target to complete the work.

East Coast Mainline timetable changes consequences – NS advised that ScotRail will operate 1633 Waverley–Dunbar return and 1741 Edinburgh-Glasgow via Motherwell return services from May. AP - ScotRail
Festive period 2011/ 12 service development – JF to clarify offer of presentation to Transport Scotland outlining options and constraints. NS will ask again for clarification from NWR on the main access questions previously raised. AP - ScotRail
East Kilbride – NS advised the proposed Network Rail timetable changes do not seem to be as wide ranging as first thought. NS will provide more detail when known. AP - ScotRail
Stranraer – ScotRail have submitted change to Network Rail for later first morning Stranraer departure following feedback from locals/ SWESTRANS. NS expects this to be reflected in the Network Rail final offer which is due out next week.

JM said correspondence levels were below forecast. ScotRail confirmed that the winter backlog has been cleared.
