Community forums

Transport Scotland has established a series of regular community forums for the Forth Replacement Crossing as part its commitments under the project’s Code of Construction Practice.

These forums are chaired by Transport Scotland and bring together representatives from affected communities and the Contractors as a means to proactively share information about the project and agree approaches to community engagement and consultation.

Following a consultation workshop attended by representatives from local community councils and interest groups, it was decided to establish the following three geographically focussed forums:

  • North Community Forum
Next meeting due to take place at 7pm – 9pm, 15 August, 2012 at Principal Contract Site Office, King Malcolm Drive, Rosyth, KY11 2DY
  • South Community Forum
Next meeting due to take place at 7pm – 9pm, 21 August, 2012 – Venue to be confirmed
  • Junction 1a Community Forum
The meeting scheduled for 2 May 2012 has been cancelled.

The forums have standing members from local Community Councils and other organisations and members of the public are welcome to attend as observers. The forums will be held on a quarterly basis as a minimum.
