A series of reports on the results of the work have been produced, leading to the final reports and papers which have been submitted in late 2010 and early 2011 and are now in the process of being published.
The main product will be an academic report published in an archaeological journal. This will include an overview of the project - its aims, research objectives and main findings together with discussion and conclusions – supported by technical and specialist analysis. In addition, there will be a more popular report which will be available from local bookshops in summer 2011.
The finds from the digs and the site records have been lodged with the National Monuments Record of Scotland and Treasure Trove. The M74 Oral History Archive has been deposited with the Scottish Oral History Centre at the University of Strathclyde.
